The majority of our staff have at least 20 years claims experience. We have Chartered Loss Adjusters and Chartered Buildings Professionals at each of our Service Centres.



We are also in a position to provide Forensic Investigation Services and engage Chartered Accountants and Lawyers to assist in complex investigations. Our staff have experience in dealing with major losses throughout the UK and internationally. We have also dealt with political risks on a worldwide basis.

Pricing unit

We are able to provide specialist pricing services on a wide range of products and services from our Head Office. We have developed close relationships with electrical retailers, specialist jewellers, medical equipment suppliers, laser manufacturers and other specialists in order to control claims leakage.

Our Head Office is in close proximity to Heathrow Airport which enables us to provide prompt inspections of goods which have been damaged in transit and conduct pricing investigations on behalf of our clients.

National Recovery Unit

We pursue recovery actions enthusiastically on behalf of our Principals. Our highly trained staff are resilient in their enthusiastic approach to third party recoveries. We undertake recovery actions on behalf of Principals even when we have not been instructed to handle the initial claim.

Our ability to decipher the salient facts enables us to give an accurate assessment on the prospects of a recovery action and control overall claims leakage.

Ellis May have been providing Claims Management Services to Brokers and Insurers for five years. We have demonstrated our ability to assist our clients and in particular comply with their stringent requirements. Our Anti-Fraud Department is based at our Head Office and can be contacted on 01895 520101. Since 1995 we have dealt with high profile investigations into a wide range of claims throughout the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.

We have developed close relationships with Specialist Investigators who have provided valuable assistance when dealing with complex investigations. Our bank of experts is constantly monitored and updated.
